Why does my paint protection film have bubbles or lifting edges?
Small bubbles or a hazy, mottled look in the first days or weeks after installation are often moisture from the installation solution that has not yet evaporated, and many clear on their own as the film settles. Bubbles that remain, or edges that lift, usually point to contamination under the film, poor edge wrapping, an adhesive problem or damage from pressure washing too close. Do not pick at lifting edges or pierce bubbles yourself; contact the installer, since these issues are often covered by the installation or film warranty.
