How do I get self-healing PPF to heal swirls and light scratches?
Self-healing topcoats recover with heat. Parking the car in warm sun is often enough, and pouring warm water over the area can help. A heat gun can be used carefully at a distance, keeping it moving, but excessive heat can damage the film, the adhesive or nearby trim. Only light marks in the topcoat heal; scratches that cut into the film's body will not.
