Can I polish paint protection film to remove scratches?
Light marks in modern self-healing film often disappear with heat alone, so try that first. If marks remain, a very fine polish with a soft finishing pad and low machine speed can remove some light scratches in the topcoat, but polishing too aggressively can damage the topcoat or cause haze. Deep scratches or cuts in the film cannot be polished out; the panel of film needs replacing.
