Why does my ceramic coating look cloudy or hazy a few weeks after application?
Haze that appears after the coating has cured usually has one of three causes: a thin film of residue from shampoos, detail sprays or drying aids; a mineral film from hard water; or uneven areas left during application that only show clearly once the coating has fully hardened. Wash with a pH-neutral shampoo and, if needed, a coating-safe mineral remover, then inspect under strong light. If the haze stays in defined patches or streaks, it is likely cured excess coating, which needs light polishing of that area and recoating.
