Can I use a paint ceramic coating on glass?

Some paint coatings can be applied to glass, but dedicated glass coatings are formulated for glass's chemistry, wiper abrasion and optical clarity. A paint coating may wear quickly in the wiper sweep or cause chatter. Use a product specifically rated for windshields on the driver's view areas, and check the coating manufacturer's guidance before using a paint product on glass.
