Can I use a clay bar on car glass?
Yes. Glass collects bonded contamination such as tree sap, overspray, road film and mineral residue, and clay is an effective way to remove it before applying a repellent or coating. Use plenty of lubricant and a dedicated piece of clay, since glass can load the clay with debris that should not be used on paint afterward. Clay will not remove water-spot etching or scratches.
