Can I apply ceramic coating over wax, glaze or a filler polish?
No. Ceramic coatings are designed to bond to clean, bare paint. Wax, glazes and filler polishes create a layer that the coating can bond to only weakly, which can shorten durability and cause uneven behavior. Fillers can also wash out later and reveal swirls under the coating. Remove these products with a suitable cleaner or polish, then use a panel wipe before applying the coating.
