Can I apply ceramic coating in direct sunlight or on a hot panel?
It is not recommended. Heat makes the coating flash much faster, which shortens the leveling window and makes streaks and high spots far more likely. Sunlight also makes it hard to see what you are doing. Work in shade or indoors on panels that are cool to the touch. If you must work outdoors, choose early morning or late afternoon, and work in small sections.
