Can alkaline shampoo damage ceramic coating?
A properly cured, good-quality ceramic coating is usually resistant to moderate alkaline cleaners, but very strong alkalinity, excessive concentration or frequent use can shorten the life of some coatings and strip toppers applied on top of them. Strong alkaline pre-washes and traffic-film removers are most often found in touchless and commercial washes. Use the least aggressive chemistry needed for the level of contamination, and follow the dilution on the label.
