Why does my ceramic-coated car still get dirty as quickly as before?
A ceramic coating does not stop dust, road spray or pollen from landing on the car. What it changes is how strongly that dirt bonds and how easily it releases during washing. A coated car can look dirty after the same drive as an uncoated one, but should clean up faster and with less effort. If dirt is becoming harder to remove over time, the coating may be contaminated or worn, which is a better indicator of its condition than how fast it gets dirty.
