Can pollen damage car paint?
Pollen is mostly a cleaning problem, but it can mark paint under the wrong conditions. When pollen gets wet from dew or rain, it becomes sticky and can leave stains as it dries in the sun, especially on light-colored or unprotected paint. Its fine particles can also scratch if wiped off dry. Rinse pollen off with plenty of water before any contact, and wash more often during heavy pollen seasons.
