Can iron remover damage paint if it dries on the surface?
Yes. Even products designed to be paint-safe can leave staining, residue or chemical marks if allowed to dry, especially on hot panels or in direct sun. Work on a cool surface, treat a few panels at a time, keep them wet if needed and rinse thoroughly within the stated dwell time. Take extra care on bare metal, chrome, and fresh or damaged paint.
