Can I apply ceramic coating to a brand-new car straight from the dealer?
Yes, but a new car still needs preparation. Vehicles often arrive with transport film residue, rail dust, adhesive and fine wash scratches from dealer preparation. Wash, decontaminate with an iron remover and clay where needed, inspect the paint under good lighting and polish if fine scratches or swirls are visible, then use a panel wipe before coating. Coating a new car without inspection can lock in scratches and swirls that are already present.
