Why does water keep dripping from mirrors and trim after I dry the car?
Water trapped behind mirrors, badges, door handles, grilles, fuel doors and trim pieces drains out slowly after drying and leaves drip marks or spots. Open the doors, hood, trunk and fuel door to drain those areas, and use a blower or compressed air to clear gaps before drying the main panels. A short drive followed by a final wipe can also help, but driving with water still on the paint spreads dirty runs.
