What is the difference between a quick detailer and a spray ceramic coating?
A quick detailer is mainly a cleaning and gloss product: it removes light dust and fingerprints and adds slickness and shine that last days to weeks. A spray ceramic coating, often SiO2-based, is a protective product: it leaves a thin, more durable layer that repels water and dirt for several months. Neither replaces a full ceramic coating, which is thicker and lasts much longer. Many owners use a spray coating every few months and a quick detailer between washes.
