Is it safe to spray wheel cleaner on hot wheels or brakes?
No. Hot wheels make cleaners dry almost immediately, which can cause staining or etching, especially with stronger chemistry. Rapid cooling of very hot brake components is also undesirable. Let the wheels and brakes cool until they are comfortable to touch before applying any cleaner, and work one wheel at a time so products never dry on the surface.
