How should I wash microfiber towels?

Wash microfiber towels separately from cotton and other laundry, on a short machine cycle of around 15 minutes. Lightly used towels can be washed with water only, without detergent. If detergent is needed, use a regular laundry detergent with no bleach additives and no fabric softener. Avoid fabric softener, bleach, soft soap and stain-removing detergents: their chemistry can clog or wear the fibers, leave residue that causes streaks, and make towels less absorbent and more likely to scratch paint. Keep towels used on wheels or with compound or coating separate from paint towels, and air dry or tumble dry on low heat.
