How can I prevent dye transfer on light-colored leather seats?
Keep the seats clean, because dirt and body oils help dye bond to the surface, and apply a leather protectant or coating designed to create a barrier that makes transfer easier to wipe away. Protection reduces the risk but does not make leather immune to dark, freshly dyed fabrics. Clean any visible transfer promptly rather than letting it build up.
