Can I wash a ceramic-coated car in an automatic car wash?
A touchless automatic wash is generally less mechanically risky than a brush or cloth wash, but the strong pre-wash detergents often used can be harsher than necessary and may strip toppers. Brush and cloth systems can introduce swirls and should be avoided when appearance is the priority. If an automatic wash is the only option, a touchless wash used occasionally is the lower-risk choice.
