Why do interior surfaces look white or blotchy after cleaning?
White, blotchy marks are usually dried cleaner residue or minerals from hard water left in the texture of plastic, vinyl or leather. They are most common when too much product is used, it is left to dry or the surface is warm. Wipe the area with a clean towel dampened with clean or distilled water, then dry it. Persistent blotching on plastics may also indicate that a strong cleaner affected the surface finish.
